Throwback Thursday from 2011, Unity vs STM

This week's Throwback Thursday feature goes back four seasons to our coverage of Unity's first-round playoff game against St. Thomas More back when the two programs were in separate conferences. The Rockets, representing the Okaw Valley Conference Black Division, easily cruised by the Sabers from the Sangamon Valley Conference, 44-6. Improving to 9-1 on the season, quarterback Taylor Black led Unity to wins over Monticello the following week and later Macomb before succumbing to the eventual Class 3A state champions Aurora Christian.
