Say hello to the new PhotoNews stacks

This weekend PhotoNews Media added a new section to our online photo archive called the Stacks. Each stack contains previously published photos arranged by calendar year between 2002 and 2014. The Stacks are searchable by athlete's name, school, school nickname, date and more. Use the search box on the right hand side of this page to begin your search now.

Building the Stacks is going to be a work in progress and since it is football season we started off with populating the first one with gridiron photos from 2014. While most of our coverage tends to focus on football programs at St. Joseph-Ogden and Unity, check out game action photos from other Champaign County athletes from the Urbana Tigers, Centennial Chargers and Central Maroons.

September 19, 2014 - Champaign, IL - Centennial's Julian Hess runs the ball for the first TD of the game against Central at Tommy Stewart Field on Friday. Taking sole possession of the #1 spot in the Big 12 Conference standings, the Chargers ruined the Maroons' Homecoming handing them a 40-14 loss. Also added were three galleries of images from the 2012 through 2014 Illinois High School Association state badminton tournament held on the Eastern Illinois University campus. Use the links below to explore the ten new galleries.

Here's the cool part: Any photo found in the stack can be downloaded to a mobile device - smartphone or tablet - with the watermark removed for just $1.00. The size is perfect to share on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
