Just for fun we did a search in the PhotoNews online photo archives with the first few first names that popped in our heads. Earlier we tried Lauren and followed that one up with a search on the name Jordan.

The Jordans we've photographed over the years are football players, track stars, long distance runners, golfers and baseball players. Here's a few sweet photos and memorable moments of them from our image archive. See the complete search results here.

November 25, 2016 - Champaign, IL - IC Catholic's Jordan Rowell carries the team's championship trophy after their Illinois High School Association Class 3A award ceremony. The Knights blanked the Cavaliers 43-0 to win this year's title. The team victory gave Rowell tenth IHSA state medal. With one season yet to run, the senior and Northern Illinois University football commit, will have a chance to add even more to his nine state track medallions. June 6, 2014 - East Peoria, IL - Trico pitcher Jordan Lodge winds up for a pitch in the second inning during her team's state semifinal game against Amboy. The Lady Pioneers defeated the Lady Clippers 6-1 to advance to Saturday's Class 1A title game at Eastside Centre. May 27, 2016 - Charleston, IL - Batavia's Jordan Birkhaug competes in the Class 3A 4x200-Meter Relay during Friday's preliminary competition. The Battling Bulldog relay squad, that also featured sophomores Reggie Phillips and Jeremiah Evers along with junior Charles McMarrow (all not pictured), finished seventh in their heat at the IHSA State Track & Field Finals. Qualifiying for the state meet, Jordan Harmon runs to a 5th place overall.
October 31, 2015 - Forsyth, IL - Staying ahead of teammate Nicole Bagwell and University High runners Arielle Summitt and Annemarie Michael early in their race, Rockets' Jordan Harmon runs to a 5th place overall finish at the Decatur Class 1A cross-country sectional on Saturday. Harmon's outstanding performance helped Unity tie with Urbana University High for first place team trophy. Both advance Saturday's state final at Detweiller Park in Peoria on November 7.


Urbana's Jordan Holler runs Illinois Marathon.
April 30, 2016 - Jordan Holler, from Urbana, IL, runs to a 34th place finish in his age group at the 2016 Illinois Marathon. He finished the race with a time of 3:59:28. More than 1,400 runners finished this year's annual race 26.2 mile race through the twin cities of Champaign-Urbana. Browse more than 600 other photos of runners braving the rainy conditions here. After a rain delayed affair, the Spartans picked up a home win defeating the Redskins in Sangamon Valley Conference play, 34-6. November 5, 2016 - Peoria, IL - Lincoln-Way East's Jordan Jacobucci runs elbow-to-elbow with Lockport Township's Jorie Beaumont during the Class 3A IHSA state cross country finals at Detweiller Park on Saturday.
