::: IPPA Clip Contest Upload Instructions
File entries must be jpeg files. Optimal upload sizes is 600 pixels on the longest side at 96 dpi.


Steps:

1. Go to this web address: http://www.iphotonews.com/IPPA

2. If you haven't created an account you will need to do so. After registering an activation key will be sent to the email address you entered. If you don't receive it in a half hour check your SPAM/Junk mailbox and complete the process.

3. To upload your entry click the upload button found in the section of silver buttons in the upper right part of the screen. A new window will pop open.

4. Browse for the jpeg file you want enter. Next highlight the category you wish to enter the image. Then click the Upload Media button.

5. After the upload is complete a new pop up box will appear allowing you to modify the IPTC info. If not modifications are needed then click the 'Close Window' button in the upper right part of the popup window.

6. After the file is uploaded you can either delete the file (by clicking the red X button) or update the IPTC info (click the A button). Contest entries will not be viewable after they are uploaded until after judging.


To confirm the file you uploaded you can 'A' button under the Approval Pending icon and you will see the filename located at the top of the popup window.


Tips:
If you have multiple files to upload to a category you can do a batch upload of your files. Install this program called iBulc (www.ibulc.com ) on your computer. Follow the installation instructions.

Once installed when you log back into your account click the batch upload tab after you open the upload window. Select the category and click the upload button. Using the iBulc interface select the files you wish to enter into that category and push the upload button. Repeat this step for each category you entries.

Multiple feature submissions must have the same filename and number+1. IE: image1, image2, image3.....ect.
