St. Joseph-Ogden High School standout Hannah Bowen, who committed to Oklahoma State University in 2010, has amassed an impressive prep career. She has averages 57.5 stolen bases per year, drove in a state single season record of 97 RBI and enters her senior year with a .560 batting average. This year she struck out just 3 times in 149 trips to the plate.

Not only was he a wrestler, St. Joseph-Ogden's Brodyee Hollowell was a member of the Spartans' record-setting 2006 Class 3A runner-up football squad.

Rochelle's Brooke Hatfield (Jr.) along with teammates Breanna Newton, Sarah Glaser and Michelle Dobbs finished third in the Class 2A 4x800m Relay at 2010 Illinois state track and field meet.

St. Joseph-Ogden's Harm, who was sidelined much of the season due to a shoulder injury playing in just 19 games, finished the season batting .482 on 56 trips to the plate. The Spartan hit 20 singles, 5 doubles, a single and a homer in her abbreviated junior season.

After running 14.48 to first place finish in the 110-meter High Hurdles, Orion's Logan Hohl also placed second in the 300m event. Thanks to the state champion's success in both events, Orion finished 9th in the 2007 team standings.

This season Audra James stole 49 bases and was not thrown out once in her 36 games. She was one of six Spartan players who finish the season with a batting average above .500. At .519, the junior hit 66 singles and one triple.

Champaign Centennial High School goal tender Michaela Klump  was named the team's varsity squad's Most Valuable Player this past spring. Klump earned other post-season awards such as named to the Big 12 All Conference team and The News-Gazette All Area team for her performance her senior year with the Chargers for her fearless defense of the CHS goal.

She didn't bat once in the state title game, but her defensive prowess, including an amazing over the should catch, helped the Marengo Indians win their first state softball title on June 11, 2011.

In his senior year, St. Joseph-Ogden's Isaiah Olson led the Spartans to a Class 3A state runner-up football title. He was also a member of SJO's basketball and baseball squads. The record setting quarterback was the best passer to wear the Spartan uniform.

Streators' Logan Pflisen cleared 17'-1" to set a new state high school pole vault record during the Class 2A at the IHSA state track and field meet. Pflisen, a senior and New Mexico State recruit, broke the nearly decade old state record of 17'-1/2" set in 1992. This gallery documents his accomplishment at the two day meet.
